Snowballs in Space

Come and join astronomers Affelia Wibisono and Choong Ling Liew-Cain (Twitter: @ChoongLingAstro) on a journey back in time to explore how the smallest things in the Solar System became the building blocks of the planets in our cosmic neighbourhood. Then, take a peek into the future to discover how scientists will catch a brand new comet in this sublime science show.

Big and Small

Big and Small is an interactive game show where the hosts battle to win the audience’s votes to settle a very important scientific argument: which one is superior – big things or small things. Making the case for Big is Affelia Wibisono who studies the biggest planet in our Solar System – Jupiter. At the other end of the scale is Alex Holmes (Twitter: @aomholmes) take it in turns to convince the audience that they use the snazziest equipment, have the most beautiful data and that they’ll have the greatest impact on humanity. The rapport and tongue-in-cheek competitiveness between the hosts might mean that they won’t always play fair when it comes to getting the audience’s votes…
